Mobile Car Detailing in Palm Cove
We're based at our Trinity Beach shop, just a few minutes down the road — and we're fully mobile, so we come straight to you in Palm Cove. The esplanade is beautiful, but that salt air off the water and the litter off the paperbarks are genuinely tough on a car. We know exactly what it does and how to stay ahead of it.
Salt Air Right on the Water
Is Hard on a Car
Palm Cove sits right at the top of the Northern Beaches with the esplanade on the sand — it's stunning, but the salt exposure and the paperbark litter mean cars out here need a bit of sensible upkeep. Here's what we see most.
Heavy Salt, Right Off the Esplanade
When you're that close to the water, the salt air is constant — not just on the beachfront but across the whole village. It settles on your paint, your wheels and your trim, and left sitting in the heat it starts working on the finish. A regular wash and the right protective coating keeps it from getting a proper foothold.
Paperbark Litter and Bird Mess
The big melaleuca paperbarks along the esplanade are part of what makes Palm Cove special — but they drop a fair bit. Bark strips, leaf debris, and what the birds leave behind are all acidic, and in this heat they etch into clear coat faster than most people expect. Getting it off regularly is the main thing.
Holiday Cars Sitting for Weeks
A lot of cars around Palm Cove spend time parked up between visits — holiday homes and second cars that sit unused for weeks. That's when salt buildup really accumulates and litter piles on. Coming back to a car that's been sitting under a paperbark for a month is never ideal. A good detail before or after a long break makes a real difference.
Quality Cars in a Harsh Spot
Palm Cove tends to have some quality vehicles, and it would be a shame to let the coastal conditions quietly do a number on the paint. A bit of protection goes a long way — and it's a lot cheaper than chasing the damage once it's set in.

Yep, no problem. We're based at our Trinity Beach shop — just a few minutes south on the Northern Beaches — and we're fully mobile, so we come straight to you. No travel surcharge to Palm Cove. If you'd rather drop the car in to us, that works too.
It's one of the saltier spots on the Northern Beaches — sitting right on the esplanade means the salt air is constant, not just occasional. Add the paperbark melaleucas dropping bark and litter onto cars and the usual wet-season humidity, and it's a bit more looking after than a car inland. Nothing dramatic — just regular, sensible upkeep and the right protection keeps it all in check.
Every car's a bit different, so we'd rather give you a real number than a guess. As a rough guide, exterior details start from $325, interiors from $275, and a full detail from $599. Ceramic coating starts from $1,000 on a new car. Give us a quick call and we'll sort an exact price for your car.
Not necessarily — I'll be straight with you. If the paint's already got swirls or salt etching through it, that wants correcting first before anything goes over the top of it. And if you're planning to sell in the next six months, a good pre-sale detail from $399 makes more sense than coating it. But for a car you're keeping in Palm Cove long term, coating is genuinely worth it. We'll tell you either way when we have a look.
That's actually a pretty common one around Palm Cove. Cars that sit for weeks under the paperbarks and in the salt air end up with a solid layer of contamination on them — bark strips, bird mess, the lot. We can come out and get it sorted before owners arrive or guests check in. Just let us know there's a tap and power point handy and we'll handle the rest.
