Every car's a bit different, so we'd rather give you a real number than a rough guess. As a starting point — an exterior detail is from $325, an interior from $275, and a full detail from $599. Honestly, it depends on the car and how long you're keeping it. If the paint already has swirls or etching, that wants correcting first — coating over it just locks the damage in. And if you're selling the car in the next year or so, a pre-sale detail is going to make more sense than coating it. But for a car you're holding onto, parked outside under a leafy canopy most days, ceramic makes cleaning a lot easier and gives the paint real protection from the sap and fallout.
